What I Use To Make My Monthly Goals List

Each month I love to sit down and take an hour or two to write out my goals and biggest intentions for the month. I love to be creative and make it look aesthetic as I can. Below you can find everything I use to do just that:

Font Style - you can find the Morning Notes Handwriting font on the Digital Collectives website, but you can also access tons of free fonts on Dafont.com

Stickers - Stickers make digital planning so fun and unique. Good Notes has tons of free stickers, but you can also find a bunch on Etsy or other sites. I really love the Marvels by Muse - Aesthetic Digital Stickers pack, which I found on Etsy and the Haus of Planner - Everyday Widget Digital Stickers, which you can find on the Marvels by Muse website.

Vision Boards - Every month I create a new vision board, which is just a collection of pictures I find on Pinterest. I love the Pinterest Collages feature, it makes creating vision boards a breeze!

Colorful Boarders - Using the Good Notes Draw and Hold feature allows you to create boarders around text and images. I love to use this feature to add a pop of color to my planner. Hex codes are also super important to have. I get my hex codes off Pinterest by searching “pastel hex codes” or “(insert color here) hex codes” etc.

... Read moreIt’s amazing how much a little aesthetic touch can boost motivation and consistency when it comes to tackling your monthly goals! Beyond just listing what I want to achieve, I’ve found that how I present those goals truly matters. For me, it’s about creating a holistic planning experience that feels inspiring, not like a chore. You know that feeling when your 'aesthetic desk' is perfectly organized, and it just makes you want to get things done? It's similar with digital planning! While my article focuses on the digital tools I use, I love blending that with my physical workspace. My 'aesthetic desk' often includes a cozy planner setup, maybe a small plant, and a comfortable chair. This makes the act of planning, whether digital or on paper, a ritual I look forward to. Think about your 'monthly routine' – how can your planning space, both digital and physical, support it? For instance, with my 'January spread,' I made sure to include dedicated sections for self-care and appointments alongside my monthly goals. This helps me visualize my entire month, ensuring I prioritize not just tasks, but also my well-being. When it comes to setting those 'monthly goals lists,' I don't just write them down. I categorize them: career, personal growth, wellness, and fun. Then, I break each goal into smaller, actionable steps. This helps connect my 'monthly routine' tasks to my bigger aspirations. For example, if a goal is 'read more,' my routine might include '30 mins reading before bed,' which I track visually with a digital sticker or a custom hex code progress bar. This not only makes goals less intimidating but also lays the groundwork for bigger aspirations, like my '2025 goals list' – each month becomes a stepping stone towards those long-term dreams! And while GoodNotes is my go-to, exploring other 'my monthly app' options can be fun too! Many digital planning apps offer similar features like custom fonts, sticker imports, and template creation. The key is finding what resonates with your planning style. Don't be afraid to experiment with different digital sticker packs (like those from Marvels by Muse, which I adore!) or font combinations to keep your planner fresh and engaging every month. The more you enjoy looking at your planner, the more likely you are to use it consistently. It’s all about creating a system that truly works for you and brings a little joy into your day-to-day planning!
