Supplements to survive Luteal Phase

When you aren’t fighting your body the Luteal phase is actually kind of nice 🫣 dare I say

I’m a firm believer that we should get most of our nutrients through our diet, however sometimes your body just needs a little extra.

The Rasberry leaf tea has made the biggest difference to me. I drink it the week leading up to my period and it drasticallyyy reduces cramps and my agitation.

... Read moreThe luteal phase, occurring after ovulation and before menstruation, is a critical time when many women experience symptoms such as cramps, mood swings, and fatigue. Supporting the body during this phase with the right supplements and herbal remedies can significantly improve well-being. Raspberry leaf tea is a standout herbal supplement frequently recommended for luteal phase support. Rich in vitamins and minerals, it helps reduce menstrual cramps and soothes agitation by acting as a gentle uterine relaxant. Drinking this tea during the week leading up to menstruation can provide notable relief. Magnesium is another key nutrient that assists with muscle relaxation and nervous system regulation. During the luteal phase, magnesium supplementation can help combat irritability, reduce PMS symptoms, and improve sleep quality. Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb, further supports stress management and hormonal balance, making it a valuable addition to nighttime supplementation. Probiotics targeted for women's health support gut balance, which plays a vital role in hormone metabolism and immune function. Taking a high-quality probiotic supplement during the luteal phase may alleviate digestive discomfort and promote overall hormonal harmony. Collagen peptides are also beneficial during this phase, enhancing skin, hair, nail, and joint health. Their improved absorption at night synergizes with the body’s natural repair processes. Furthermore, chamomile and mint herbal blends offer calming relief, reducing stress and fostering relaxation. Combining these supplements—raspberry leaf tea, magnesium, ashwagandha, probiotics, collagen peptides, and calming herbs—can create a holistic approach that supports physical comfort and emotional balance through the luteal phase. Understanding these supplements and incorporating them mindfully can empower women to better navigate their menstrual cycles. Consulting healthcare professionals before starting any supplement regimen is recommended to ensure safety and tailored care.
