Regularly going through your stash to check expiration dates is also a must – it's surprising how quickly things can expire! An organized system, like the one I'm building, makes these checks much easier. For ultimate safety, especially with little ones or pets around, consider a lockable cabinet or a high shelf out of reach. While medicine storage has certainly evolved from the more casual approaches of the 60s and 70s, today's focus on clear, accessible, and safe organization is all about promoting family wellness and peace of mind.
