Parents Understanding of School-Based OT
What's one thing you wish more parents understood about school-based OT?
School-based occupational therapy is about so much more than handwriting. School OTs support students in accessing and participating in their school day-from fine motor and sensory needs to self-regulation, attention, independence, classroom participation, and more.
Every child's needs look different, and collaboration between families, teachers, and school staff can make a meaningful difference in student success.
We'd love to hear your perspective! Your insight may encourage or support another family navigating school-based services.
