Nationality trend 🌍🥰
I’ve lived in Thailand, Senegal, France, the United States, and Canada, each for at least 3 years.
Every country shaped me in a different way. Different cultures, different rhythms, different ways of thinking.
I truly believe that moving around the world is what opened my mind and made me endlessly curious.
And I’m not done yet. I want to see it all. ✈️✨
Traveling and living in different countries isn't just about visiting new places—it's about immersing yourself in diverse cultures that challenge your preconceived notions and help you grow. During my stays in Thailand, Senegal, France, the United States, and Canada, I encountered unique customs, languages, and ways of life that taught me adaptability and open-mindedness. Each culture has a distinct rhythm—whether it's the slower, more relaxed pace in Thailand or the dynamic, fast-moving lifestyle in the United States. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned through living abroad is the importance of cultural empathy. Understanding how people from different backgrounds think and live enriches your interpersonal skills and fosters deeper connections. For instance, in Senegal, community and togetherness are central, while in France, there is a strong appreciation for art, history, and cuisine. Exposure to these differences helped me appreciate diversity not only externally but also within myself. Moreover, living internationally encourages curiosity and lifelong learning. Facing new challenges, such as language barriers or adapting to unfamiliar social norms, pushes you out of your comfort zone and builds resilience. This kind of experiential learning is irreplaceable and has motivated me to keep exploring more of the world. For anyone considering a life abroad, my advice is to embrace the differences wholeheartedly. Engage with locals, try new foods, and allow yourself to be transformed by the experience. The world is vast, each country offers something unique, and through this journey, you can discover not only the world but also yourself. My journey is far from over; every new place is an opportunity to expand my horizons even more. If you’re curious and open, moving around the world can profoundly shape your outlook and enrich your life in unexpected ways.
