4 Bridal Studios I Tried in SG 👗 | Honest Review

One of the best parts about being a bride? The thrill of trying on gowns! I visited 4 bridal studios recently, and here are my personal reviews. (Disclaimer: these are based on my own experiences — yours may differ!)

💡 Pro-tip 1: If you already have certain gown designs in mind, send photo inspo to the studio beforehand so they can prepare. Saves you time!

💡 Pro-tip 2: Plan your visits strategically — book your favourite bridal studio as your last stop. Most offer same-day perks to encourage decisions.

1. The Gown Connoisseur ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My consultant was super friendly and helpful! Since this was my first stop, I had no idea what suited me, but she gave me thoughtful recommendations. Packages were reasonably priced (in my opinion), but the designs weren’t quite my style despite their wide variety.

2. Odelia Bridal ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Odelia limits fittings to 4 gowns, which felt a little restrictive. They also work exclusively with their in-house photographers and MUAs, but I personally prefer having the freedom to choose. Their packages were affordable though, and overall service was decent.

3. Bridefully Yours ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I first met them at a wedding fair where they were friendly, but they didn’t follow up after I left my contact. I later booked an appointment via their website. They had a restriction on the number of gowns, but their designs were more in line with my taste.

One downside: I was pressured to make a decision on the spot to enjoy their same-day promo, even after explaining my fiancé wasn’t with me. That felt a bit pushy.

4. Wedding Crafters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Their website caught my eye with several appealing designs, so I quickly booked an appointment. The consultation was 1.5 hours long with no restriction on gowns — I tried on 14 (!!). The consultant was patient and supportive throughout.

I fell in love with some designs instantly. At the end, I even got to spin a wheel for more discounts (extra $150 off!) and they gave me time to think before committing — which I appreciated. Price isn’t the cheapest, but the designs and experience made it worthwhile.

... Read moreIn my experience, Bridefully Yours stands out with gowns more aligned to my taste, especially if you're looking for stylish and trendy options. However, I noticed a sales pressure to decide on the spot, which might not suit everyone. It's valuable to bring your partner along or clarify decision timelines. For brides interested in exploring more choices, consider studios like Wedding Crafters, where I could try on an unrestricted number of gowns—14 in total! Their patient consultants and flexibility made for a relaxed experience. Meanwhile, The Gown Connoisseur offers a wide variety but leans towards more classic designs. If budget is a key concern, Odelia Bridal’s affordable packages with included photographer and makeup artist might appeal, though the fitting limit could be restrictive. Also, prepare your visits by sending gown inspirations beforehand; this helps consultants tailor recommendations and saves fitting time. Booking your favorite studio last can also help you take advantage of same-day promotions. Ultimately, it’s about balancing style, service, and comfort to make your bridal gown journey memorable and stress-free.
