The monk gave in the temple of Hua Weir.
The weir head temple was set up in the year. In 2130, formerly known as the Temple of Si Mai, it is assumed that the villagers should have built it to be the anchor and religious ritual of the people of the village, because in the past, the site of the temple was outside the walls of Chiang Mai and in the middle of the field, not a temple built by the king or the aristocrats, and the villagers built it called "Si Mai Mai Temple," which is known as Pu Kam Temple, because the site of the temple was in the field, so many pu lived in the area that when the top of the temple's relics fell, there were people who saw silver pu Kam to live in the area of the relics to preserve the relics, so that it was called Pu Temple. The word is also called the Water Pu Temple, because the temple is in the middle of the field, with a lot of crabs, and then the name was changed to the "Weir Head Temple," because the area near the temple is the water barrier.[1] Wat Hua Weir received the royal family of Vizunkamsima on November 8, 1983. The district of Vizunkamsima is 40 meters wide, 80 meters long.
The temple has a stupa that was originally a brick stupa with a million fields. Because of the passing of time, the condition of the stupa deteriorated and collapsed. The villagers joined the temple to restore the new stupa by adorning it with glass. There are four old Buddhas in the temple: three Sing Buddhas (but two lost), one Chiang Saen Art Marble Buddha [2].
วัดหัวฝายถือเป็นแหล่งรวมศรัทธาและประวัติศาสตร์ของชุมชนท้องถิ่นในเชียงใหม่ที่มีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งต่อการรักษาศิลปวัฒนธรรมและจิตใจของชาวบ้านในพื้นที่ ตั้งแต่การก่อตั้งวัดในปี พ.ศ. 2130 โดยชาวบ้านที่อยู่นอกกำแพงเมืองเชียงใหม่ในสมัยนั้น ซึ่งไม่ใช่การสร้างจากกษัตริย์หรือข้าราชการ แต่ก่อเกิดจากความเชื่อและความผูกพันของชุมชนโดยตรง การเรียกชื่อวัดตามเหตุการณ์และสิ่งแวดล้อมรอบวัด เช่น วัดปูคำและวัดน้ำปู นั้น สะท้อนถึงวิถีชีวิตที่ผูกพันกับธรรมชาติรอบข้าง บริเวณทุ่งนาที่เต็มไปด้วยปูเงิน ปูคำ ซึ่งชาวบ้านเชื่อว่าปูเหล่านี้ช่วยปกป้องและรักษาความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพระธาตุได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง ในด้านศิลปวัตถุ พระประทานหลักในวิหารคือพระพุทธรูปเก่าแก่ที่แสดงถึงศิลปะล้านนาและเชียงแสน เช่น พระพุทธสิงห์หนึ่งและพระพุทธรูปหินอ่อนที่สะท้อนถึงฝีมือช่างและความเชื่อในอดีต แม้บางองค์จะสูญหายไป แต่ก็ยังคงเก็บรักษาไว้ให้คนรุ่นหลังได้ชื่นชม นอกจากนี้ เจดีย์ของวัดที่ถูกบูรณะใหม่ด้วยกระจกแก้วทั้งองค์ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการอนุรักษ์โบราณสถานเท่านั้น แต่ยังเพิ่มเสน่ห์โดดเด่นและความศรัทธาเพิ่มขึ้นให้กับวัดเป็นอย่างมาก การบูรณะครั้งนี้จึงสะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือของชุมชนและวัดเพื่อสืบสานวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีท้องถิ่นต่อไป ด้านพระคาถาเงินล้านและคําขอขมาพระรัตนตรัยที่ได้กล่าวถึงในเนื้อหา เชื่อว่าเป็นบทสวดที่นิยมใช้เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลและเสริมบารมีแก่ผู้ที่สวด นอกจากนี้คาถาเหล่านี้ยังช่วยสะท้อนความเชื่อในพระพุทธศาสนาและความศรัทธาที่แนบแน่นของชุมชนในพื้นที่ซึ่งเกี่ยวเนื่องกับวัดหัวฝายด้วยกันอย่างลึกซึ้ง ดังนั้น วัดหัวฝายไม่เพียงแต่เป็นสถานที่สำหรับประกอบพิธีกรรมทางศาสนาเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นศูนย์กลางทางวัฒนธรรมและประวัติศาสตร์ที่ชุมชนตั้งใจรักษาไว้ให้คงอยู่ตลอดไป เพื่อให้ผู้คนรุ่นหลังได้รับรู้ถึงคุณค่าของสถาปัตยกรรม ศิลปะ และประเพณีที่สะท้อนผ่านพระประทานและโบราณสถานในวัดหัวฝายแห่งนี้อย่างแท้จริง
