โจ Weigh-In Day!! Week 9 โจ
Another Thursday, another step forward! This Thursdays loss: -3.6lbs. This weekโs TOTAL loss: -3.8lbs, bringing my total to 35.8 lbs down since December 31st. ๐
I started at 287 lbs, my highest ever. I felt stuck in an endless cycleโhardcore dieting, restricting everything, then โmessing upโ and spiraling back into old habits, gaining it all back plus more. I tried Atkins, Weight Watchers (the wrong way), anything that promised fast results, but I was either starving or miserable.
Then, I finally realized: this isnโt about suffering through a dietโitโs about creating a new me I can actually maintain. โจ I donโt have to give up everything I love. I donโt have to be perfect every single day. I just have to be consistent, eat balanced meals that nourish me, and know that one indulgence wonโt erase all my progress.
Right now, Iโm following Weight Watchers againโbut this time, Iโm doing it the right way. The points system keeps me balanced, satisfied, and in control without feeling restricted. Instead of obsessing over quick fixes, Iโm focusing on what actually works for me long-term.
Today, I weigh 251.2 lbsโstill a long way to go, but instead of focusing on how far I have left, Iโm celebrating how far Iโve come. My goal weight is 150 lbs (Iโm 5โ6 for reference), a number I havenโt seen since 6th grade. Back then, I thought it was huge (because I was shorter at 12, of course), but now, it feels like a dream Iโm working toward. Maybe Iโll adjust as I go, but for now, Iโm just focused on being the healthiest and happiest version of me. ๐ฉท
