โœจ Weigh-In Day!! Week 9 โœจ

Another Thursday, another step forward! This Thursdays loss: -3.6lbs. This weekโ€™s TOTAL loss: -3.8lbs, bringing my total to 35.8 lbs down since December 31st. ๐ŸŽ‰

I started at 287 lbs, my highest ever. I felt stuck in an endless cycleโ€”hardcore dieting, restricting everything, then โ€œmessing upโ€ and spiraling back into old habits, gaining it all back plus more. I tried Atkins, Weight Watchers (the wrong way), anything that promised fast results, but I was either starving or miserable.

Then, I finally realized: this isnโ€™t about suffering through a dietโ€”itโ€™s about creating a new me I can actually maintain. โœจ I donโ€™t have to give up everything I love. I donโ€™t have to be perfect every single day. I just have to be consistent, eat balanced meals that nourish me, and know that one indulgence wonโ€™t erase all my progress.

Right now, Iโ€™m following Weight Watchers againโ€”but this time, Iโ€™m doing it the right way. The points system keeps me balanced, satisfied, and in control without feeling restricted. Instead of obsessing over quick fixes, Iโ€™m focusing on what actually works for me long-term.

Today, I weigh 251.2 lbsโ€”still a long way to go, but instead of focusing on how far I have left, Iโ€™m celebrating how far Iโ€™ve come. My goal weight is 150 lbs (Iโ€™m 5โ€™6 for reference), a number I havenโ€™t seen since 6th grade. Back then, I thought it was huge (because I was shorter at 12, of course), but now, it feels like a dream Iโ€™m working toward. Maybe Iโ€™ll adjust as I go, but for now, Iโ€™m just focused on being the healthiest and happiest version of me. ๐Ÿฉท
