Weigh-In Day - 14 Weeks & Counting💪🏼
✨ Weigh-In Day!! Week 14 ✨
Another Thursday, another check-in with myself! This Thursday’s loss: -1.4 lbs. This week’s TOTAL loss: -2.6 lbs, bringing my overall weight loss to 45.8 lbs down since December 31st!
I’m sitting at 241.2 lbs now, and I’m so close to being out of the 240s—ahhh! Every little drop feels like a celebration, and it’s wild thinking how far I’ve already come from 287 lbs.
Lately, my weight’s been fluctuating a lot, and honestly, I started to worry. I felt like I was doing everything right, but the scale was being unpredictable. So I talked to my doctor, and she reminded me—this is normal. Your body doesn’t follow a straight line. It’s totally okay to plateau, drop a bit, go up, and drop again. What matters most is staying consistent and not letting those ups and downs mess with your mindset.
This week reminded me: don’t let the scale discourage you if you know you ’re showing up.
And—okay, small victory moment—I haven’t noticed a huge change in the mirror yet, but a friend snapped a candid photo of me the other day and I actually saw it. My jawline looked sharper, and my double chin? Way less noticeable. It kind of stopped me in my tracks. Like, oh wow… that’s the version of me I’m working toward.
I’m still following Weight Watchers, doing it my way—balanced, sustainable, and not depriving myself of the things I love. This isn’t about suffering through another crash diet. It’s about building something I can actually live with.
My goal is 150 lbs (I’m 5’6”), but for now, I’m just celebrating the fact that I’ve lost nearly 46 lbs and I feel different. More confident. More hopeful.
If your progress feels slow or messy, keep going anyway. Progress isn’t always visible right away—but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
