this is white charcoal on black paper. i love this medium, theres no room for error. i love the challenge using one colour to determine shape, depth and perspective. i hope you like it too!

this was one of my first large loose pastel paintings ,done when i was still learning to draw after my accident and coming to terms with my new life, it still remains one of my favorites, the story is although he is despairing of his situation he feels hope growing within, as he becones more hope

i drew this portrait of my beloved Cavapoo Rupert from a photo i took of him sleeping, he literally fell asleep on his toys while playing with them, hes so adorable. i used colour pencil on double matt drafting film.
