🚃 How to travel by public car (Exhaustive Edition)

Anyone who does not rent a car is advised to use this method. Very convenient and on time.

Step 1: From Toyama to Takaoka Station

• Take the Ainokaze Toyama Railway from Toyama Station to Takaoka Station

• Time: About 20 minutes

• Fare: 390 yen

Step 2: Continue the bus to Komaki Pier.

• When you reach Takaoka Station, walk off Main Exit (Zuiryu-ji Exit)

• Look for Kaetsunou Bus stop (No. 1 stop)

• Take the bus heading to "Komaki Entei" ()

• Time: About 1 hr 10 min (Enjoy the city and snow fields)

• Fare: approximately 1,100 yen

Step 3: Reach the docks.

• Get off the bus at Komaki Entei. This sign will be in front of the boat ticket building. A few steps walk to the pier!

🚗 Car Travel (Fine Edition):

1.Beginning: A foothold at downtown Toyama (Toyota Station Row)

2.Driving: Take the Hokuriku Expressway (heading towards Kanazawa) and turn out at the Tonami IC exit.

3.Local Route: Continue by Highway 156 towards Shogawa Village (The way will gradually enter the forest and along the river. The view is beautiful!)

4.Destination: Pin "Komaki Port" or "Shogawa Yuran"

• Distance: about 45 kilometers

• Time: About 55 minutes - 1 hour (if heavy snow may allow 15-20 minutes extra time)

🛳️ Ship schedule that should be Czech (very important!):

Winter, the boat will have fewer cycles than usual (about 3-4 cycles per day for long cycles).

• Super Morning Round: Usually starts around 9: 00 or 10: 00 a.m.

• Final round: Around 15: 00 or 16: 00

• Recommended to check the return bus time well so you don't have to stand cold for a long time.

💡 Tips for Bus Lines:

1.Bus Timetable: The bus is infrequent (about 1-2 hours per car). It is recommended to take a picture of the timetable that the bus stop keeps as soon as it reaches.

2.IC Card: Some strings may not support Suica / Pasmo. It is recommended to prepare cash (coins) as well.

3. Beauty on the way: If you take the bus, choose to sit on the right side (on the left side), you will see the view of the Shogawa River more beautiful!

• Parking: There is a very wide free parking lot next to the boat ticket purchase point.

🚢 Cruise information to know:

There are two main boat routes available at any time:

1. Short Course (Short cycle): Around back to the same place. It takes about 25 minutes. Suitable for people with little time, but want a beautiful picture.

2.Omaki Onsen Course (Long Cycle): Take about 60 minutes. The boat will reach the front of the mysterious Onsen Hotel that can only be entered by boat. The view on the way will be much deeper and more spectacular than the short cycle!
