... Read moreTraining through the Texas heat during week 5 of half marathon preparation is definitely a test of both physical strength and mental endurance. From my own experience, hill sprints can feel especially brutal in hot weather, but they’re incredibly effective for building strength and speed. One way I stay motivated is by breaking my workout into smaller goals—focusing on getting to the next hill or sprint, rather than the entire session. Hydration is another key; I make sure to drink plenty of water before and after, and sometimes during, my runs to avoid heat exhaustion. Running hills also trains your muscles to power through fatigue, which pays off big time in race day performance, especially in half marathons where pacing and endurance are crucial. If you’re battling similar conditions, try running early mornings or late evenings when the temperatures are cooler. Don’t forget to listen to your body and adjust your intensity if needed. The Texas sun may not cooperate, but with persistence and smart training strategies, you can still progress toward your marathon goals successfully.

Training Biceps Once a Week Isn’t Enough
Training biceps once a week is one of the biggest reasons arms never grow. Biceps recover fast and need frequent, high quality tension to actually adapt. If you want bigger arms, you need smarter frequency not just one hard arm day. #armsworkout #biceps #musclebuliding

When it comes to heavy lifting, many people don’t realize they can be overtraining. An example of overtraining can be hitting the same muscle like 4 times a week. Many people tend to believe that the more you work out a muscle, the better it is. However, training a specific muscle too much or too h
