Kuninda - Authentic Ryukyu cuisine

During my visits, I particularly enjoyed the subtle sweetness of the deep-fried taro called Biragara Machi, considered a lucky charm in Okinawan culture. The Raftee, a braised pork belly dish simmered in miso and Awamori, brings out rich umami tastes unique to the region. The carefully prepared Kubuirichii, featuring stir-fried kelp simmered in bonito stock, balances bitterness and savoriness delightfully. Visiting Kuninda offers both traditional dishes steeped in Okinawan heritage and a welcoming atmosphere embodying "hospitality."
