STRENGTH TAKES TIME!⏰⌛️
I’ve been doing fitness for 17yrs (est 2008) and I’ve been thru every stage in my life as a woman. One thing that kept me going is the way I felt when I lifted. I felt badass, powerful and strong. FROM THE INSIDE and it started to show on the outside once I healed mentally. This is all about mental folks.
Now that I am still breastfeeding my 3rd baby, weight loss isn’t even in my mind. BUILDING my mental strength and physical is my goals. Im treating this period of my life rn as a bulk🤭😂Just to be mentally happy and strong. I chase the feeling not the results! LFG mamas we got this!

Throughout my 17-year fitness journey, I've learned that true strength isn't just about the numbers on the scale or the weights you lift—it's about how you feel inside and how your mindset evolves. Postpartum fitness is a unique challenge for many women, especially when balancing breastfeeding and recovery from childbirth. I personally found that shifting my focus from losing weight to building mental and physical strength made all the difference. It allowed me to appreciate the small victories, like gradually increasing my bicep curls from 25s before kids to 30s while 23 weeks postpartum after my third child. This phase I call my "bulk" period—not for the typical muscle gain but for gaining happiness and resilience. Mental health and self-compassion go hand in hand with physical fitness, especially during postpartum. Listening to your body, celebrating progress, and staying consistent without pressure helps maintain motivation. For moms navigating this journey, remember it’s okay to go at your own pace. Strength takes time and patience is key. Surrounding yourself with a supportive community, whether local groups or online spaces like #fitmomsoftiktok, can keep you inspired and accountable. By chasing the feeling of empowerment, rather than just results, I found my fitness journey deeply fulfilling. Fitness is not a destination but a lifelong process, and every stage of life brings new challenges and rewards. Keep lifting, keep believing in yourself, and enjoy the strength that grows within.
