HOW TO MAKE THE VIRAL PASTRYs for $2.00!

This one took a minute, but it’s honestly not hard at all once you skip the freezing parts — super simple.

Here’s the quick rundown:

• Bake any box cake (I used yellow because it’s my favorite). Let it cool.

• While that’s baking, make your fruit purée — 2 cups fruit, ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, 1 tbsp lemon juice. Simmer 8–10 mins, then strain. Save some for later.

• Mix 3 cups powdered sugar + 1 cup water into the leftover purée. Cook 5–7 mins until thick — that’s your glaze.

• Cut your cake into small rounds (bottom of a cup works). Freeze for a few hours.

• Next day, make mousse: 2 cups heavy cream, ½ cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, ½ cup purée. Whip till stiff peaks form.

• Layer mousse → frozen purée → cake → more mousse. Tap mold to settle. Freeze overnight.

• Last day, melt chocolate (match your fruit color), dip frozen pastries, and set them on gold sheets or parchment. Keep cold till served.

That’s it 😭 — way easier than it looks. I should’ve used a spray pen for the finish, but Amazon probably tired of me returning stuff 😂
