Cooking at home can be both enjoyable and rewarding with the right recipes. This oven-baked Parmesan chicken and red potatoes recipe is not only simple but also delivers on taste. Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F, which ensures a perfectly cooked meal. Wrapping your pan in tinfoil helps to keep the moisture in, resulting in juicy chicken and flavorful potatoes. Preparing the potatoes involves washing them thoroughly and cutting them in half. Tossing them in oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese brings out their natural flavors. Baking them for the first 15 minutes allows them to become slightly tender before adding the chicken. For the chicken, thin slices seasoned with oil, salt, pepper, Parmesan, garlic powder, and breadcrumbs provide a delightful crunch. Once the potatoes have had their initial baking time, you can add the chicken to the pan and allow it to cook for an additional 25 minutes. This timing strategy ensures both components are ready together, perfect for serving. Enjoy your meal with family or friends and consider pairing it with a side salad to balance the richness of the dish. This recipe is perfect for those busy weeknights or even when hosting guests! Remember, the key is to have fun while cooking and feel free to experiment with different seasonings or sides to make the dish your own!
