Okay, fellow TVD Family, you absolutely have to hear about my trip to Mystic Falls! I've been dreaming of this for ages, and actually being in Covington, Georgia, where all the magic happened, was surreal. It's more than just a visit; it's like stepping into a time machine back to the world of vampires, witches, and hybrids. First up, the Mystic Falls High School memorabilia was everything I hoped for. Seeing the Timberwolves football jersey and letterman jacket made me feel like I was walking the halls with Elena and Caroline. And the Miss Mystic Falls pageant exhibit, complete with Elena's iconic blue dress and props, brought back so many memories of those dramatic dances! You can even spot Caroline's gorgeous wedding dress – seriously, the detail is incredible. And don't even get me started on Stefan's tux, or even a Necromancer mask! It's wild to see these screen-worn pieces up close. But what really blew my mind were the items related to the Prison World. As a huge fan of the 1994 Prison World storyline, seeing actual screen-worn jewelry and props from that dark, mysterious dimension gave me chills. You can even see framed photos from that era. It felt so authentic, especially knowing the significance of the the vampire diaries prison world arc. It really makes you appreciate the thought that went into every detail of the show. Then there’s the Salvatore house mystic falls setup. Seeing that ornate, patterned couch from Damon and Stefan's living room, alongside a Mystic Falls city limit sign and a Salvatore banner, was just... chef's kiss! And Damon Salvatore's classic blue car? It's even cooler in person, parked there as if he just stepped out for a minute. They even recreated Damon's bedroom with his bed and that freestanding bathtub – it’s such a fun nod to his character. And of course, no vampire diaries house tour is complete without a stop at the Gilbert family home exterior. It really makes you feel like you're standing right where so many pivotal moments happened. The replica cemetery, with tombstones for the Gilbert parents, Jeremy Gilbert, and Carol Lockwood, complete with an angel statue, was a poignant touch too. Even fans of The Originals are in for a treat, with a room dedicated to Mikaelson family paintings, including a captivating Klaus Mikaelson painting, and Davina's drawings, recreating some iconic scenes. It’s a wonderful way to see how interconnected these worlds are. This entire experience truly immerses you in the vampire diaries mystic falls aesthetic. If you're a vampire diaries enthusiast or just curious about bringing your favorite show to life, a trip to Covington, Georgia is an absolute must. It’s not just a set tour; it’s a journey into the heart of Mystic Falls!
