Making a great pasta salad is all about balancing flavors and textures, and this rotini pasta salad recipe nails it with fresh ingredients and bold seasoning. When I first tried using supreme seasoning in my pasta salads, it completely transformed the dish, adding a depth of flavor that's hard to achieve with basic spices. The combination of sweet grape tomatoes and crisp mini cucumbers provides a fresh crunch that complements the creamy white cheddar cubes beautifully. One tip I’ve found useful is to cook the rotini pasta just al dente—this keeps the noodles firm enough to hold up under the dressing but tender enough to enjoy easily. After draining, rinse the pasta with cold water to stop the cooking and cool it down for the salad. This step prevents it from becoming mushy once mixed with the Italian dressing. Speaking of dressing, using a flavorful pre-made Italian dressing like Olive Garden’s or Aldi’s Tuscany Italian saves time and brings a zesty tang that coats every ingredient evenly. I love pouring in a whole bottle per box of noodles, as it ensures the salad is well coated and moist—but be sure to toss everything thoroughly to avoid any sogginess. Don’t hesitate to adjust seasonings based on your taste. Adding paprika gives a subtle smoky flavor, while Himalayan salt enhances all the other ingredients without being overpowering. Freshly cracked black pepper adds a little bite that balances the richness of the pepperonis. Another great way to elevate this pasta salad is by letting it chill in the fridge for at least an hour before serving. The flavors meld together, making each bite more flavorful and refreshing—perfect for summer picnics, potlucks, or quick lunches. I’ve noticed that my pasta salad just gets better and better as it sits! Finally, feel free to customize the salad by adding other ingredients like olives, bell peppers, or fresh herbs such as basil or parsley for an extra burst of freshness. This recipe is flexible and forgiving, making it easy to personalize according to what you have on hand or prefer. Overall, this pasta salad is a fantastic no-fuss dish that combines convenience with vibrant flavors that please a crowd. It’s definitely become a staple in my summer recipe rotation!
