Since GLP-1 lowers appetite but doesn’t eliminate your nutritional needs, I found it essential to schedule regular meals and snacks, focusing on at least 30 grams of protein per meal. Protein sources like chicken breast, Greek yogurt, and eggs helped sustain energy and muscle health. A helpful tool in my journey was using the Back2Me GLP-1 tracker app, which reminded me to eat and helped monitor my symptoms and triggers. This proactive approach gave me more control compared to relying solely on willpower. If you’re on GLP-1 therapy, consider planning your meals in advance with protein-first snacks and tracking your meals to maintain energy and mood. Avoiding skipped meals can prevent common side effects and support steady progress. Incorporating these habits transformed my experience, making the journey smoother and more sustainable.
