this is a total light bulb moment for me, for the opposite reason. My dad told me when I was 11 that he'd be gone by now if it wasn't for us kids. I've carried this for 46 years (he died when I was 23). I stopped speaking to my toxic mother 18 years ago (she passed late 2024) and THIS reel has mDe me realise that he stayed nit out of obligation, but to protect 😭
