I’ve learned so much in the past year, especially with writing. It’s been so wonderful seeing myself grow. I’ve grown over 1000 followers on TikTok, 170 on Instagram (Give me a follow on these if you aren’t already!) and have made so many author friends. As an aspiring author, embracing the challenges and triumphs of your writing journey is key. In 2024, I've penned an impressive 88,435 words and fueled my creativity with 378 cups of coffee, reminding myself that passion often runs on caffeine and persistence. The process of writing involves countless hours of daydreaming; over 73,498 hours this year, in fact! It’s a transformative experience moving from self-doubt, feeling like your drafts are 'trash', to moments of brilliance when that 'genius' idea strikes. This year was all about learning, with drafts being started, discarded, and nearly finished.
