How painful are piercings?

After 16 piercings I am comfortable sharing the actual pain level of these piercings. This is coming from someone with a relatively high pain tolerance.

For instance, I found the eyebrow piercing to be the least painful at a 4/10, while the septum piercing reached an 8/10 for pain. Furthermore, piercings such as the forward helix and conch tend to hover around a 5/10 and 7/10 pain level, respectively. Lobe piercings, on the other hand, are considered quite manageable at just a 2/10. This varying pain scale highlights that personal pain tolerance plays a crucial role; what might be a 6/10 for one person could feel like a 4/10 to another. Always consult with your piercer to ensure you are informed and prepared! Understanding these pain levels can also help in choosing where and what to pierce, making for a more comfortable experience.

F your septum hurt, they pierced it incorrectly (in the wrong place) mine was 100% pain free. It was without a doubt the least painful piercing I’ve ever had.

They might not be lying. Just because something feels some type of way to you, doesn't mean the same as others. My septum was 100% painless. My VCH piercing was only about a 3/10 and iykyk. But my n1pples were 10000/10 A simple helix for me is 7/10 because I have very thick and dence cartilage. Everyones body is different and pain tolerance. Sometimes it even depends on the piercer and how quick they are!
