Booktok books I hated & why!

When a book like 'The Silent Patient' by Alex Michaelides, which I also tried, felt slow-paced despite a clever twist, it highlighted how different my reading preferences were from the viral hype. And even 'Throne of Glass' by Sarah J. Maas, while a beloved fantasy series, felt like a slow burn when I was expecting something more action-packed, as the OCR noted.
