Lint roller hacks 👀 you didn’t know!

Besides your clothes I think the lint roller is UNDERRATED when it comes to refreshing your fabric.

👉🏾 Use around your home on sofas, blankets, and knot items when you’re in between washes. It’s great to use the lint roller before a wash so you avoid tangles.

👉🏾 My fuzzy items are prone to hair so I use the lint roller on them to make it look new again.

I turn my bags inside out and use the lint roller on the pockets, and bottom.

... Read moreOkay, so like, you know how amazing lint rollers are for clothes, right? But seriously, my mind was blown when I started using them all over my home! I totally agree with the original post – lint rollers are SO underrated for refreshing fabrics beyond just your wardrobe. I wanted to share a few more of my personal discoveries and tips, especially for those hard-to-clean spots. First off, let's talk about the couch and other upholstery. I used to dread vacuuming my sofa cushions every week, especially with my fluffy cat. Then I realized my lint roller was a secret weapon! For my fabric couch and chairs, I find that long, even strokes work best. It's not just about getting surface lint; it pulls up all that embedded pet hair, dust, and even tiny crumbs that accumulate. I have a beige fabric chair, and you wouldn't believe the difference a quick roll makes – it looks so much fresher, almost like it's been professionally cleaned! And those throw pillows? A total game-changer. I just lift them off the couch and give them a quick roll on all sides, especially my white fluffy throw pillow, which is a magnet for everything. I've also found lint rollers are fantastic for areas you might not think of. My car's fabric seats often get dusty or have little bits from snacks, and a lint roller is perfect for a quick clean-up without hauling out the vacuum. And if you have pets, their beds are a must-do! It’s incredible how much hair comes off, making them feel way cleaner for my fur babies. I even use it on smaller area rugs that don't need a full vacuum yet, just to pick up surface fuzz. When you're tackling different kinds of messes, remember that some lint rollers are stickier than others. For really stubborn pet hair, I reach for an extra-sticky roller. For general dust and crumbs, a regular roller does the trick. And don't forget those nooks and crannies! My bags, like the patterned bag or light brown bag mentioned in the original post, often collect lint and crumbs inside the pockets and at the bottom. Turning them inside out and giving them a good roll is my go-to hack to keep them looking pristine. It's all about maintenance. I try to do a quick lint roll on my high-traffic fabric items – like the couch and my favorite pink chair fabric – a couple of times a week. It seriously extends the time between deep cleans and keeps everything looking neat and tidy. Plus, it's so satisfying to peel off a layer of tape and see all the gunk you've removed! It's a small step that makes a huge difference in keeping my home feeling fresh and clean.
