Life in Bath Part 2: Check in 2 Landmark to Come!

Hello again, everyone!

Today, let's check in at two points at the heart of the city of Bath that tell you who comes to England must not miss it! The more architectural or like European magic, prepare to save it.

⛪ 1.Bath Abbey: The Enchantment of the Calming Church

Opening with the magnificence of Bath Abbey, the Perpendicular Gothic architecture is so beautiful that I forgot to breathe, especially the fan Vaulting ceiling that looks like a work of art in the sky, and this is also the first church entrance in my life.

My Personal Moment:

We respect Buddhism and confess that when we look at the picture on Stained Glass, we don't know what to tell, but 😅 believe it...Every time we step into a church, we feel "calm in our hearts," and when we hear the Pipe Organ (a giant instrument that sounds so magical!) loud in the atmosphere, it is the best of the spirit.

We have friends that they study at Christ School, they share our knowledge that the church has many names, depending on the level, and the calls are different. We come to a simple conclusion in case anyone goes out to separate the beauty.

1) Cathedral: A church that is the "center" of a province or district. There must be a cathedra. Cathedral is the highest church in that district.

But there's no cathedral in Bath.

2) Abbey (Abbey): A church that used to be part of a monastery with priests as its community, with the Abbot or Abbess as its caretaker. The Abbey emphasizes singularity and living for the soul.

🔎 for more information, Bath Abbey was a Co-Cathedral with Wells, but in the Reformed era of Henry VIII, the church in Bath Abbey was dissolved and the church was almost destroyed. Later, the Cathedral status was relocated to Wells. Today, Bath Abbey is an ultra-large local church and retains the name of the Abbey for its past history.

3) Minster (Minster): A church name from the old days. The mission era is a common term for local churches. It is often used to call old churches with special honors.

4) Church is the broadest term for a place of Christian ritual, but is considered the heart of the community.

🎓 very special for us. This is the graduation place for the Uni of Bath! The day to wear a costume to walk into the Abbey is so exciting.

Next, next to each other, walk 10 steps.

2.The Roman Baths: 2,000 Years of Roman Bathhouses

According to the audio, they say that this is one of the most complete Roman bathhouses in the world, and the name of the city of Bath, while we are students in Bath, we will get in for free. Audio, listen, walk, and get the smell, touch, whisper, prepare a little. The sulphur smell is strong, but it is a natural vibe. 🤣🤣🤣

For anyone who wants to taste, have to try. He has a spot to taste the mineral water here. The taste is a little strange (we have tasted it 😅).

P.S. Normally, the entry fee is secretly strong. Save a lot.

For those who have the opportunity to visit Bath, don't forget to come and enjoy the magic of these two places and know why this city has been named a World Heritage City! 🕯️🏛️ It's really beautiful.
