Daisy Mae, inspired by Taylor Swift, felt lovely but a bit too common for what we wanted. On the other hand, Boo Baby was a nickname idea from my sister that, while cute, didn’t feel quite right as a formal name. In the end, naming our puppy Berkeley after the city in California felt special and unique, pairing well with our other dog’s name, Finn. We even thought about adding Blaire as a middle name because of its adorable ring and thematic link to Blackberry, showcasing how personal and fun this process can be.
