Had a fever & cramps back to back BUTTTT I get to speak at Primary Children’s Hospital and do the Powersuit Project for SheTech!!
Balancing personal health struggles while contributing to meaningful causes can be incredibly challenging, yet also deeply rewarding. When I had a fever and cramps, I felt the weight of pushing through physical discomfort firsthand. This experience reminded me of the phrase from my image: "Professionals do it with a headache," which perfectly encapsulated my mindset to persist until Miss Utah week. Speaking at Primary Children's Hospital was a powerful moment, reinforcing the importance of sharing positivity and encouragement in healthcare settings. Engaging with children and their families provided motivation to keep going despite my symptoms. Additionally, participating in SheTech's Powersuit Project was an inspiring highlight. This initiative supports young women in technology and leadership, empowering them through mentorship and opportunities. Being part of such a cause while managing personal adversity underlined how perseverance fuels both personal growth and community impact. From this experience, I learned the significance of embracing vulnerability, yet not letting it define your limits. Supporting others and pursuing your passions, even on tough days, creates a meaningful and memorable journey. For those facing similar challenges, remember that your efforts matter and can inspire others, proving strength is not the absence of difficulty but the will to move forward despite it.
