Felt antsy so I started competing in the Miss America Program hbu?
Sometimes when I feel restless or bored, I find that diving into something challenging and rewarding can completely change my perspective. Joining the Miss America Program was a way for me to channel that energy positively. It’s not just about the pageant itself but the personal growth, community involvement, and countless skills you develop along the way. Competing prepared me to be more confident speaking in public, managing time, and setting achievable goals. It also pushed me to engage in meaningful causes, volunteering and raising awareness on issues I care about deeply. The excitement of side-quests, such as preparation events and interviews, can really keep you motivated and even lead to unexpected opportunities — like making it onto the news at Miss Utah! If you’re feeling antsy or uncertain, I highly recommend trying something similarly immersive to discover new strengths and meet inspiring people. The Miss America Program or similar competitions provide a platform not just to compete but to grow as a person, build lifelong friendships, and make a real impact in your community. It’s a journey that’s challenging but incredibly rewarding in so many ways.
