These crispy beef taquitos are packed with flavor and perfectly crunchy 🌮🔥 Whether you fry or bake them, they’re always a crowd favorite and SO satisfying to dip!

What You Need

✅ 2.5–4 lb beef chuck roast

✅ Salt and black pepper

✅ 14 oz beef broth

✅ 1/2 cup salsa

✅ 1 1/2 tbsp chili powder

✅ 1 teaspoon garlic powder

✅ 1/2 tbsp cumin

✅ 1 teaspoon dried minced onion

✅ 20 corn tortillas

✅ Oil (for frying)

✅ Toothpicks

For Serving

✅ Salsa

✅ Sour cream

✅ Guacamole

✅ Shredded cheese

Instructions

1. Season roast with salt and pepper. Add to slow cooker with broth, salsa, and spices. Cook on LOW 7–8 hours until tender and shredable.

2. (Instant Pot option: cook on high pressure 50 minutes, natural release.)

3. Shred beef and return to juices to keep warm.

4. Warm tortillas on a skillet until soft and pliable.

5. Add about 2 tbsp beef to each tortilla, roll tightly, and secure with a toothpick.

6. For frying: Heat oil and fry taquitos until golden and crispy on all sides.

7. For baking: Bake at 425°F for 15–20 minutes until crispy.

8. Serve hot with your favorite toppings and dips.
