Most People Quit Right Here

4/17 Edited to

... Read moreIn my personal experience, the hardest part of any new endeavor is pushing through the initial phase when everything feels confusing and progress is barely noticeable. It’s incredibly common to feel lost, scattered, and frustrated at this stage—as the OCR highlights, "The work feels scattered. There’s nothing to show yet. You feel lost & stuck." This is exactly when most people quit. What I’ve learned is that those initial struggles aren’t signs of failure but part of a natural learning curve. It requires patience and trust in the process. When you stick with it despite slow progress, you start to notice small improvements, which build up over time. The key is to pick one clear path and avoid overthinking or jumping between ideas. Staying focused helps reduce the noise and confusion. Adopting a beginner mindset is also powerful. Accepting that confusion and mistakes are part of growth makes it easier to stay motivated. Instead of expecting immediate success, you allow yourself to be a learner, which reduces pressure and builds resilience. To stay committed, set small, achievable goals and celebrate the little wins. This continual reinforcement helps combat impatience. Remember, "Slow progress wins," as the image text encourages. When most quit, usually around the time things "just feel confusing," those who persist eventually break through and find clarity and success. So if you’re feeling stuck, remind yourself that it’s normal. Don’t quit because "Nothing makes sense yet" or "Nothing is working yet." These moments are temporary. Keep going, trust your process, and in time, the results will come.

An open journal with handwritten entries in pink ink, lying on a wooden surface. A blue and pink text overlay reads "YOU'VE BEEN JOURNALING WRONG," suggesting a common misconception about journaling techniques.

A dark blue background with light blue and pink text explaining that there is no single 'best' journaling technique; the best method is one that feels easy and natural for your brain.
Most people quit journaling for the same reason.

They think they're doing it wrong. They buy a beautiful notebook… Write a few entries… Then stop because it feels awkward, forced, or pointless. But here’s the truth: There is no single “correct” journaling technique. The best journaling method is simply the one that works for you

Unpopular opinion: You do not need to be exhausted to be a "good" mother. 🙅🏽‍♀️☁️ For the longest time, I thought if I wasn't drowning in laundry and stress, I wasn't doing enough. But I’m officially unsubscribing from that narrative. The "Soft Life" isn't just a

Most people don’t quit journaling…
because they’re inconsistent. They quit because the blank page shuts them down. A blank page asks you to decide everything at once. What matters. Where to start. How honest to be. That’s not freedom — that’s overwhelm. If journaling has ever felt hard, heavy, or impossible, it’s not a
