I’ve NEVER Used Tampons

I’ve never used a tampon, and honestly, I’ve never thought about it. It just wasn’t something I felt the need to try. The idea of inserting something during that time of the month always seemed uncomfortable. But what really discouraged me was a horror story I heard years ago. A friend of mine had a tampon get stuck, and she had to go to the doctor to get it removed. I’ve never forgotten how traumatizing that sounded, and honestly, it just reinforced my decision to stick to pads.

I know tampons work for a lot of people, and that’s great for them. But for me, it’s not worth the hassle or the worry about things like TSS. I’ve got my routine down with pads, and I’m comfortable with that.
