Zero Sugar Drinks from Aldi
I picked up a zero sugar drink haul from Aldi because I’ve been trying to cut back on sugar and avoid the glucose spike. Most of these were around $0.89–$1.25 each, so the total haul was about $5–$6 for everything.
The Sparkling Ice was the strongest in flavor but had a slight artificial aftertaste. The PurAqua Sparkling Frost was my favorite super clean, refreshing, and no weird linger. The Tropical Fizz is more of an energy drink vibe with a sweet tropical taste. The PurAqua flavored water was the lightest option, almost like a clean hydration drink.
The sweeteners vary between sucralose and acesulfame potassium, which explains the sweetness without sugar, but you can sometimes taste that diet note depending on the drink.
Overall, I think these are worth it if you’re trying to cut sugar, manage cravings, or just want something low calorie that still tastes good. I’d definitely repurchase the Sparkling Frost and flavored water again, but the others are more occasional.
