For The Women Who Preach/Teach The Gospel 📖💕✨

For years, I wrestled with feeling unqualified, overlooked, and unsure if there was room for my voice in ministry. But God doesn’t need perfection, He honors obedience. 💥

Here’s what I’m learning as I walk by faith and preach the Gospel:

🍎 You don’t have to have it all together to bear fruit.

🙏🏾 Prayer isn’t just personal, it’s powerful for others too.

📖 God’s word still works when applied daily.

If you’re a woman called to speak, serve, or simply obey, this post is for you.

You’re not disqualified. You’re being developed.

... Read moreStepping into my calling, I've often felt overwhelmed, but one of the most transformative practices in my journey has been learning the true power of fasting and prayer. It’s more than just a religious duty; it’s a direct line to God and a way to align my spirit with His will. If you're a woman navigating your faith walk, perhaps feeling unqualified like I sometimes did, understanding these principles can truly anchor you. Many ask, 'What exactly is fasting?' For me, it's about intentional denial of something physical – food, media, even certain activities – to create space for heightened spiritual sensitivity. It's not about earning favor with God, but rather humbling myself, sharpening my spiritual focus, and drawing closer to Him. I've learned it's less about the 'what' you give up and more about the 'why.' Are you seeking clarity? Breaking a stronghold? Or, as I often do, interceding for others? The purpose defines the power of the fast. One profound principle I've discovered, echoing the wisdom from my own lessons, is the power of fasting not just for personal gain, but for the people God has blessed to be in your sphere of influence. Imagine setting aside a meal or a comfort not for your own spiritual breakthrough, but specifically for a friend struggling, a family member's salvation, or for the collective body of believers. This kind of intercessory fasting shifts our focus outwards, aligning our hearts with God's desire for His children. It's a selfless act that amplifies our prayers, showing God our earnestness in seeking His will for others. Similarly, prayer isn't just a spontaneous utterance; it's a discipline. My journey has taught me the importance of daily, focused prayer. It's not about reciting eloquent words, but about having an honest, consistent conversation with God. I often structure my prayer time by starting with adoration, moving to confession, then thanksgiving, and finally, supplication – bringing my requests and the needs of others before Him. It's in this consistent dialogue that I find strength, guidance, and peace, realizing that God truly listens and cares. As the original post touched upon, prayer is indeed powerful for others. I've seen prayers for healing, provision, and spiritual awakening manifest in incredible ways. When I pray for someone, I'm not just wishing them well; I'm actively engaging with the Creator of the universe on their behalf. It's a privilege, and a responsibility, to stand in the gap. This is where personal experience truly comes into play – witnessing God's faithfulness strengthens my resolve to keep praying, even when answers aren't immediate. It teaches me to be patient and trust in His perfect timing. Finally, these practices are most effective when grounded in God's Word. Reading Scripture daily, meditating on it, and allowing it to transform my thoughts and actions makes my fasting and prayer more potent. It provides the framework, the promises, and the guidance for how to pray and what to pray for. When I combine seeking God through His Word with the spiritual discipline of fasting and sincere prayer, I truly feel equipped, regardless of my personal imperfections. It’s a holistic approach to walking by faith, enabling me to bear fruit and serve authentically.
