Biblically illiterate people are the easiest to deceive. ⚠️📖✝️

In my experience, the biggest challenge for many believers today is the lack of deep familiarity with the Bible, which makes it easier for false teachings to take root. Reading the scriptures personally equips you with discernment, enabling you to recognize when someone is preaching heresy, even if they have a compelling presence or an impressive platform. False prophets often rely on charm, eloquence, and financial gain to attract followers, but their message lacks the grounding of true biblical teaching. It's essential to cultivate a personal prayer life and spend time studying the Word to confirm that what you hear aligns with scripture. I’ve found that genuine spiritual insight comes not from the way a preacher dresses or the accent they have, but from whether their teaching encourages you to seek God directly and grow in truth. Moreover, the community around you—whether a church or fellowship—plays a crucial role in supporting biblical literacy. Encouraging group Bible studies and open discussions can help believers sharpen their understanding and call out falsehoods. Remember, no one should place themselves above the Word of God or make the church a substitute for direct communication with God. Stay vigilant by regularly reading and learning from the Bible yourself. When you develop this habit, discerning between a real prophet filled with the Spirit and one spreading heresy becomes much clearer. This protects you from deception and strengthens your faith journey.
