I know we all want to love the way our skin looks. I’ve been there… through the acne, fine lines, pregnancy melasma, black heads etc. it’s always something… And the truth is, with the right foundations in place, peptides are the advanced layer that can get your skin glowing. Like GLOWING. You know? Whether your skin is dull. Tired. Textured. Breaking out. Holding onto melasma from pregnancy. Quietly shifting through perimenopause as your estrogen drops… There are peptides, both topical and internal, that can genuinely turn your skin around for each of these. Built for women. Not borrowed from men. Without the Botox. Without the monthly treatments. Without spending more on serums than groceries 👀 The full protocol is on this week’s episode of the Biohacking with Brittany podcast 🎙️ “The Complete Skin, Hair and Nails Protocol for Women: Peptides, Collagen, Red Light and What Estrogen Has to Do With It | Her Stack Series” Just comment “SKIN” for the link 👇👇👇 This content is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice. #peptides #skinlongevity

... Read moreFrom my own experience, embracing peptides as part of my skincare routine was a game-changer, especially navigating hormonal shifts and skin challenges like melasma and fine lines. What I found fascinating is how these peptides work not just on the skin’s surface but from the inside out—targeting inflammation, gut health, and cellular regeneration. For example, GHK-Cu, known as the copper peptide, helped restore my skin’s glow when my estrogen levels started dropping during perimenopause. Unlike traditional serums, this peptide supports collagen production and wound healing—the foundation for youthful skin. Another peptide, BPC-157, was incredibly effective in soothing reactive, inflamed skin linked to gut health issues. Applying it topically and considering internal support made a notable difference in calming breakouts and even softening a long-standing scar. The pigment-correcting properties of Melanotan I stood out for dealing with stubborn pregnancy melasma and hormonal hyperpigmentation without harsh bleaching agents. Using peptides that activate natural melanin production helped even out my skin tone more naturally. I also appreciated Matrixyl, a topical peptide, which mimics skin’s natural repair signals to build collagen without irritation, making it my go-to for fine lines and early firmness loss. SNAP-8 gently softened expression lines around my eyes and forehead, offering a Botox-like effect without freezing my face. Lastly, Serpentyl’s gene-regulating effect felt like a deeper approach, targeting skin repair at the genetic level and improving overall skin quality over time. Incorporating these peptides required patience and consistency but combined with a healthy lifestyle, collagen supplementation, and red light therapy (as discussed in the podcast episode mentioned), my skin gradually transformed into the glowing, resilient complexion I had always wanted. For anyone feeling frustrated by traditional skincare limits, exploring peptides tailored for women’s unique hormonal and skin needs can be truly empowering. Remember, glowing skin reflects systemic health, so it’s about optimizing your body from within just as much as applying serums on top.
