Ecclesiastes 11:6 urges us to “Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon,” highlighting persistent faith and dedication. The examples of Sarah and Rahab from the Hebrews 11 account reinforce an essential truth: God honors faith above past mistakes or social standing. Rahab’s inclusion in the faith “hall of fame” illustrates that redemption and faith are open to everyone, regardless of their background. This challenged my perspective, reminding me to never judge my own or others’ potential to grow spiritually. Moreover, the call to love as Jesus did—even loving our enemies—is something I have personally found both challenging and rewarding. Practically applying Matthew 5’s teaching to “turn the other cheek” has led me to experience peace and transformation in relationships I thought were beyond repair. It illustrates how love and forgiveness, empowered by the Holy Spirit, can break cycles of hurt and build stronger communities. In sum, sowing the seeds of faith involves consistent actions and a heart open to God’s timing. While results may not always be visible immediately, trust that these efforts contribute to a larger spiritual harvest. This journey is not only personal but communal, encouraging us to support one another in faith journeys.
