BLESS BOOKS OF LIFE

Life often presents us with giants—huge challenges, temptations, addictions, and toxic relationships that feel overwhelming. Through personal experience, I’ve found that acknowledging these giants is the first step toward defeating them. The key is to remember that, just as 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 reminds us, God is faithful and will never allow a temptation stronger than we can endure, always providing a way out. One powerful image that resonates deeply with me is seeing Jesus not just as a path but as a bridge spanning the vast chasm between us and God. This bridge enables safe passage from despair into hope and spiritual renewal. Understanding this has helped me face personal struggles with renewed faith and courage. In my journey, I’ve confronted moments where fear, past trauma, or self-doubt threatened to take hold. But by consciously choosing to 'feed what I want to live'—positive thoughts, prayer, and community support—I have starved those negative influences. Like the morning light that follows a dark night, joy and peace eventually emerge when we persist. It’s also helped to reflect on the nature of temptation and addiction. Rather than viewing them as insurmountable foes, seeing them as giants that can be defeated with Christ’s strength has empowered me to break free from harmful patterns.
