Unlearning the Lies
Transformation begins in the mind. Before we can walk in freedom, we have to confront the quiet lies that shape how we see ourselves. Lies like “I’m not enough,” “I have to earn love,” or “God is disappointed in me.” These thoughts take root when we’ve been shaped by pain, comparison, or unmet expectations.
Romans 12:2 reminds us that renewal is not a one-time event—it’s a daily exchange. Each time we reject the world’s false standards and return to what God says is true, our hearts begin to heal. The more we unlearn the lies, the clearer His voice becomes.
You don’t have to keep living under the weight of falsehoods. The truth of who you are—chosen, loved, and redeemed—has always been waiting to take root.
Reflection:
What belief about yourself might God be inviting you to release so you can walk in truth and peace?
