Let go of what's heavy.
Not everything you're carrying was meant to be carried forever.
Some of it is grief that has overstayed its welcome. Some of it is guilt for choices you made with the knowledge you had at the time. Some of it is resentment from wounds that were never acknowledged. Some of it is pressure to be everything to everyone. Some of it is the expectation that you should have healed faster, known better, or done more.
And some of it simply isn't yours.
We often convince ourselves that holding on is strength.
Holding on to the disappointment. Holding on to the anger. Holding on to the relationship that has already ended in every way except physically. Holding on to old versions of ourselves because they're familiar.
But there is another kind of strength.
The strength to loosen your grip.
The strength to admit, "This is too heavy for me to keep carrying."
The strength to release what no longer aligns with who you're becoming.
Letting go doesn't mean what happened didn't matter.
It means you're no longer willing to sacrifice your peace to keep reliving it.
You don't have to carry every regret into your future. You don't have to replay every conversation. You don't have to earn rest by exhausting yourself first.
You are allowed to put it down.
The fear. The shame. The unrealistic expectations. The responsibility for other people's choices. The need to have all the answers right now.
Take a breath.
Ask yourself:
What am I carrying today that I no longer need to hold?
Then, little by little, give yourself permission to release it.
Because healing isn't only about what you gain.
Sometimes it's about what you finally stop carrying.
Let go of what's heavy.
Make room for what's life-giving.
