Becoming Requires Letting Go
One of the hardest truths about growth is that it often asks us to release what once felt familiar. Sometimes we outgrow relationships, environments, expectations, and even versions of ourselves that no longer fit who we are becoming.
Outgrowing something does not always mean it was unhealthy or bad. It may simply mean that your needs, values, priorities, and sense of self have evolved. Growth changes us, and not everyone or everything is meant to accompany us into every season.
There can be grief in that. There can also be freedom.
Give yourself permission to honor where you have been while also embracing where you are going. Becoming who you are meant to be will often require difficult goodbyes, but it also creates space for new beginnings.
What have you had to outgrow in this season of life?
