The Lyon Mountain Trailhead has ample parking, making it easy to start your hike without any hassle. One of the highlights of hiking at Lyon Mountain is the breathtaking views from the summit. I enjoyed bringing my dog along; the trails are pet-friendly and provide plenty of space for your furry companion to explore. In addition to its natural beauty, the area is managed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, ensuring the environment is preserved and the trails are safe. Many hikers find it peaceful to connect with nature here, often spotting local wildlife and enjoying the tranquility away from busy city life.
