"The story in the book, which seems superficial, is quite a classic; the hero is Werther, a delicate-minded young man, disappointed in love because 'Lotte', the girl he loves, is already fiancée; this dark love drives him to decide to end his life.
In that era...Werther's death was not seen as a setback, but teenagers who were exposed to 'storms and emotions' viewed self-destruction for love as a stoppage of time and a scar for our loved ones forever...As many people might have thought, 'If I die, he'll feel guilty for the rest of his life.'
...That's a psychological trap.
But what the novel doesn't tell you...The sad ending, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, did not figure it out himself, but he copied it from the real case of a friend named Carl Wilhelm Jerusalem.
Carl, the owner of this story, is not only hurt by love, but he is heavily bullied by society, he is only a middle-class man who falls in love with another wife, is also oppressed by his master, and is expelled from an aristocratic party simply because he has no rank before his name...So pulling the trigger was not just a call for love, but an escape from a world that no longer stands for him.
The thing is, one day he borrowed a weapon with bullets from a friend, claiming to prepare for a long journey...Which is a journey that never comes back.
In fiction...Werther was fully dressed and died peacefully...But on the actual history page, the testimony indicates that the bullet penetrated the right eye...And unfortunately, Carl didn't die immediately.
He was found the next morning in a haemorrhage, with heavy brain damage, but his lungs were still breathing...He lay tortured on the ground for hours until he died at noon.
There is no heartfelt goodbye order...No one came to hold his hand to cry...There is only terrible biological pain. This is the price of the real world being cut out of fiction.
But even though the truth is cruel, the frenzy has stopped. There are records of the drowning of Kristel von Lasberg, a young woman who jumped the Ilm River, rumored to have this novel in her pocket.
What makes these letters a weapon? The psychology Goethe used is this part.
Goethe used psychological mechanisms that work directly with the emotional brain.
* Weaponized Guilt He Says Love But this sentence is to tell Lotte, 'She's the one who sent me the weapon to kill myself.' This is the most slashing revenge under the guise of love.

His influence was proved by Napoleon Bonaparte, the European conqueror emperor who carried the book with him to battle in Egypt and read it seven times! So when they met, Napoleon even praised Goethe as "Voilà un homme!" which means "This is a real man!"
And his true Golden Age work is not love fiction, but 'FAUST,' Faust, a dark fantasy literature he spent most of his life writing, telling the story of a wise man who contracted Satan in exchange for worldly knowledge and happiness...Which became the foundation of Pop Culture around the world to this day.
He also challenged Sir Isaac Newton by writing a color theory that focuses on how color affects psychology and human emotion, which is the foundation that design works around the world use today.
Goethe once admitted at the end of his life that he felt haunted by Werther's spirit...I feel guilty about writing the work and causing anyone to really end their life. For writers, I would not expect that the work itself would be harmful to others.
