I wrote this for my mother for Mother’s Day.

Something sacred and deeply personal — learning that love is kindness, compassion, patience, and staying through difficult seasons of life.

Children remember more than we realize.

We see the sacrifices, the struggles, the strength, and the quiet ways our mothers carry love even when life becomes heavy.

No matter how much time passes, I will always see my mother as a woman shaped through broken things who remained beautiful through it all.
