Grieving

I recently lost my father that I was so close too. He was diagnosed with Aggressive Natural Killer Cell Leukaemia which is a very rare leukemia. My dad fought hard for 30 days for his family. The dr said they couldn’t do much for him anymore so we decided to bring him home because that’s what he wanted. Just as EMS bringing him home in the driveway he passed away.

I know everyone grieves differently but I now feel like I’m shutting down. I started writing to him everyday even though it’s only been less than a week. If you are grieving or past grieving how did you get through it???

... Read moreGrief is a complex process that affects everyone differently, especially after losing a loved one to a rare illness like Aggressive Natural Killer Cell Leukaemia. Many people find solace in expressing their feelings through writing, which can serve as a therapeutic outlet. In addition, connecting with support groups can provide comfort as individuals share their experiences and coping strategies. It is essential to understand that grieving is a unique journey, often requiring time and patience. Engage in self-care practices such as meditation, exercise, or simply talking about your feelings with trusted friends and family. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to grieve; it is about what helps you heal. If you are looking for additional resources, consider exploring books or online forums dedicated to grief support that can guide you through this challenging time.

You think you’re ANGRY. But you’re grieving 🤔
Underneath anger… there’s always grief. And no one ever taught you how to tell the difference. You weren’t “too emotional.” You were grieving. And no one noticed. They said you had “anger issues.” But no one ever asked what your rage was protecting. No one ever saw the child in the fire.
