What I eat in a day (not ideal)

Can you relate to this #WIEIAD ? Do you have any tips or suggestions? I’m looking to improve my diet over time. I recently cut out the majority of fast food, so that’s a great step! I know I consume a lot of caffeine, thats something I’d like to change too. I ended up around 2500 calories today which is actually about what my maintenance is (because I am still breastfeeding my child!).

Focus on whole grains, lean proteins, and plenty of fruits and vegetables to boost energy and nutrition. For breakfast, consider oatmeal topped with chia seeds and honey, which provides lasting energy, or a nutritious 2-egg omelet filled with vegetables. Snacks should be smart choices; swap soda for delicious ginger tea, and opt for baked snacks over fried options. At lunch, a balanced meal might include a bowl of quinoa or brown rice paired with grilled chicken and steamed broccoli. To satisfy your sweet tooth, keep fruit on hand or choose a small piece of dark chocolate. For dinner, think about portion control when treating yourself. Sharing a meal from your favorite restaurant could be a great way to enjoy dining out while managing calorie intake. Remember, developing healthy eating habits is a gradual process, and small changes can lead to significant improvements over time.
