Why I don’t post my child ⬇️

I’m not trying to shame or judge anyone who has done this, I have done it myself… but I have learned since that it’s dangerous and unfair to our children. Consent is important. Please consider not posting them! You can even have a successful page about parenting without putting your children in harm’s way. Please consider this post. All the love to you and your families.

... Read moreIn today's digital world, sharing your child’s photos has become commonplace, but it’s crucial to understand the potential threats involved. Digital kidnapping is one alarming risk, where individuals may steal your child’s images and use them as their own. This isn’t as rare as many parents believe, with numerous documented cases highlighting the issue. Online predators also lurk, often blending in with innocent profiles, making it difficult to identify their intentions. Consent is another significant factor. Children are unable to make informed decisions about their online presence, and sharing their lives without permission can lead to issues of autonomy and privacy. Parents should recognize that every image shared online can stay there indefinitely, potentially affecting a child's future opportunities and mental health. Radiating openings for cyberbullying, unintentional exposure to inappropriate content, and unwanted attention, these risks become even more daunting as children age. Privately sharing moments among family and friends is entirely different from public sharing, where anyone can save photos. It’s recommended to maintain stricter controls on who sees your child’s images, possibly limiting this to private groups on social media. Ultimately, parents must prioritize safety over likes. Educating yourself about these risks, considering alternative ways to celebrate your child’s milestones, and fostering a culture of privacy can greatly protect their well-being. Making informed choices today will contribute to a safer digital environment for burgeoning generations.

What I do when my child says no (not yell) 🙅
My child said “no” to putting shoes on this morning. And the old version of me would have said it louder, then threatened, then bribed with a snack, then felt terrible about the whole thing. These days I do something different. And honestly? It works faster, and I don’t feel like a garbage pe

I love my child but still feel regret…
This is uncomfortable to say, but I think more women feel this than we admit. Some women regret having children, not because they don’t love them, but because they completely lost themselves. Your time is no longer yours. Your thoughts are constantly interrupted. Even when you rest, your brai

A fever is a sign that your body is doing its job and fighting off the sickness. By treating/killing a fever you are just slowing down the process of getting better. With that being said if the fever were to get too high or last too long then we certainly take other precautions to keep everyone
