Dealing with OCD/anxiety/intrusive thoughts?

You’re not alone!

🤍 My Story: my first panic attack was around 11 years old

🤍 How I Felt: I was scared. I felt alone. I was alone after school and I started to have panic. I called a few different people and no one answered their phone. The thoughts began to flood through my mind. ( everyone in the word is dead except for me, I’m the only one left on earth) The panic set in.

🤍 My Takeaways: take a deep breath. Go outside and observe your environment. Are there signs of life? Use your senses to ground yourself. What do I hear, what do I see, what do I smell, how does this object feel? Pick up a textured object and really focus on what it feels like down to every detail. Smooth, crevices, silky, rough? Don’t be scared to talk to someone. Don’t be scared to get help so you can fix it before you’re an adult. #HelloLemon8 #letschat #panic #ocdawareness #intrusivethought
