What I saw vs what I made

Mine doesn’t look as good but I tried my best. I used the mushroom risotto from Aldi idk why but it was so SALTY!!!! I’ve had other versions before and they were not this salty. I didn’t salt my spinach in hopes that it would balance it out which it did. I bacon wrapped my chicken but the bacon didn’t come out as crispy as I hoped so I took it off and sliced the chicken up lol.

Overall rating: 8/10 I would make this again with different risotto and chicken still tasty.

To counteract this, I chose not to salt the spinach, hoping it would provide some balance to the overall dish. Additionally, one of my main proteins was bacon-wrapped chicken thighs. While the idea sounded delicious, the execution didn't quite meet my expectations as the bacon lacked crispiness. In the future, I plan to explore different cooking methods for the chicken to ensure better textural contrasts. An essential tip when cooking chicken is to ensure it's cooked thoroughly in a hot pan to achieve that desirable crispy skin. In recreating meals, it's also valuable to learn from experiences. This cooking attempt was certainly a valuable lesson in preparation and ingredient balance, and I’m excited to try this recipe again using different risotto and chicken options. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned cook, remember that every meal is an opportunity to learn and grow in your culinary journey!
