Spinach Dip Pasta Recipe🍝
👩🍳Home Recipe : One day I decided to mix two things that I really love, spinach dip and pasta! It was a match made in heaven and has been one of our favorite dishes to make for years! An extra bonus is that it is so easy to make!
Pasta of choice (I like Penne)
10 oz bag of spinach
2 cloves of garlic (about 1 tbsp)
1 block cream cheese
2 cups sour cream
salt & pepper
1/2 cup Parmesan
1/2 cup pasta water
** adding chicken is optional, I seasoned my chicken with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper before baking
-on medium heat add spinach to a pan coated in Olive oil and sauté spinach until it wilts down.
- once spinach has wilted add in your garlic and salt and pepper. Cook until fragrant.
- add in cream cheese & sour cream and mix together.
- add in noodles and mix with sauce
** if pasta is too thick add a tbsp of pasta water at a time until it reaches the consistency you like.
- mix in Parmesan & add chicken
