1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup (50g) shredded Gruyere cheese
1/4 cup (30g) crumbled feta cheese
1 cup (240g) chopped fresh spinach (sautéed until wilted)
1/2 cup (120g) canned or marinated artichoke hearts, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Bread Bowl:
1 large round bread loaf (sourdough or boule works best)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
For Dipping:
Cubed bread pieces (from the bread bowl or extra loaf)
Fresh vegetable sticks (carrots, celery, etc.)
Instructions
Prepare the Bread Bowl:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the edges. Reserve the hollowed bread pieces for dipping.
Brush the inside of the bread bowl and the bread pieces with olive oil. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes to crisp up slightly.
Make the Four-Cheese Dip:
In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
Stir in the mozzarella, Parmesan, Gruyere, feta, sautéed spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
Assemble and Bake:
Spoon the cheese mixture into the toasted bread bowl, packing it evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbling, and the cheese on top is golden.
Serve:
Garnish the dip with chopped parsley for color.
Serve warm with toasted bread pieces and vegetable sticks for dipping.
